Faith is something that has different meanings to many people. To a Christian, it should mean complete trust in God - even though you can't see Him. This is what I was talking about in "Day 10". However, as Gandhi says it must be enforced by reason. We have to search and go through the Bible to learn about that which we have faith in - God.
Many characters in the Bible have "little faith" or "great faith," there is no in between. Jesus' disciples had little faith while the woman who touched the hem of Jesus' garment was healed instantly because of her great faith. In Matthew, Jesus explains faith in parables and having much or little faith. In many instances, the people who followed or were supposed to have complete faith in God are the one who did not have faith; however, those who were lowly and not constant followers of God had "great faith." Those who followed him, or were said to believe, did not act on their faith, they just said they had it. Those who were lowly said they believed, and acted on that belief. One cannot believe or have faith, true faith, and not want to tell others about it. Still, faith is something that one believes, and if you truly believe in Him you will never be alone. Faith that He will meet your needs, faith that He will protect you, faith that - even when He gives you what may seem like an impossible task -you can do whatever He wanted you to do.
If you live in faith, you trust him fully and you will not fight for control that you don't have; if you live in faith, you will speak His word, live in a way that others will follow instead of others hating our hypocrisy.
Living in faith is giving all control to God and trusting that He will protect and heal you. Living in faith is living a life that is worth living and giving glory to Him always.
